Before reporting an issue

  1. Confirm the affected module is enabled in the toolbar popup.
  2. Open Options and confirm the module configuration is saved.
  3. Check Toolbox Settings → Config Health for invalid configuration.
  4. Restore defaults for only the affected module, save, and reload the target page.
  5. Disable equivalent standalone experimental extensions to avoid duplicate controls.
  6. For Templates, confirm the shortcut in chrome://extensions/shortcuts.

Useful details to include

  • Extension version, Chrome version, and operating system.
  • Module name and whether its toggle is enabled.
  • Target domain and path without customer or confidential data.
  • Expected behavior, actual behavior, and a safe screenshot.
  • The Copy Support Snapshot output, when safe.
  • For OCR issues, whether the runtime reports GPU or CPU.

Do not send

  • Customer, reviewer, or confidential page text.
  • OCR image pixels or recognized OCR output.
  • Generated template field values or draft text.
  • Clipboard contents or screenshots containing private case data.

Privacy and permissions

Internal Plugin Toolbox stores settings and aggregate usage counters locally, does not upload telemetry or analytics, and does not load remote code. Image OCR uses packaged local model assets and does not call a remote OCR service.
