Privacy Policy

Internal Plugin Toolbox is a Chrome extension providing packaged helpers for internal review pages, including ID navigation, keyword hints, text finding, template writing, page-image OCR, and Lighthouse video controls.

Data the extension handles

  • Extension settings, enabled modules, and module configuration.
  • User-authored templates, field values, and generated output.
  • Transient current-page text used after an explicit template action.
  • Image pixels and OCR text processed by the Image OCR module.
  • Local shortcut, configuration, and runtime diagnostics.
  • Aggregate local module and action counts without raw event payloads.

How data is used

Data is used only to provide requested extension features: module control, configured page helpers, template writing or copying, local OCR, video controls, and status information inside the extension UI.

Storage and processing

Settings, template values, and aggregate usage counters are stored locally in Chrome extension storage. OCR processing remains in the page, browser, or packaged extension worker. The extension does not operate a remote backend.

The extension does not inspect cookies, page storage, DOM profile text, or application tokens to infer identity. Authentication is not configured in this release.

Sharing and transfer

Internal Plugin Toolbox does not sell user data, transfer it to advertising services, or share it with third parties. It does not upload telemetry or analytics.

Remote code

The extension does not execute remote code. JavaScript, CSS, templates, OCR workers, ONNX models, and WebAssembly assets used by the submitted package are bundled with the extension.

User control

Users can enable or disable every module, edit or restore module settings, clear extension storage, or remove the extension from Chrome.
